1976 red MGB with around 43k miles on her. Runs great. Fun little car for a Sunday afternoon drive. In good overall shape. Has had some body work done. Car looks great at 10ft. When you get closer, you can see the work done along the lower edges of the body. But, a nice paint job helps out a lot. Known items in need of minor repair listed below. If you'll come get it, you can walk away with it for $2500. I have the title right here in my hand. A bill of sale will be required and whatever else the State of Ohio expects us to do.
Top has some minor damage in the windows. I never put it up anyway so I never cared to fix it.
Alternator needs replaced (will cost you around $80 for a new one) Car runs great, but will not charge the battery. Battery seems to be just fine - it has been converted to a standard 12 volt instead of the old dual 6 volts I think they used to have.
Brake line has a small leak. The car stops just fine, just will drain soe fluid over time. Should be an easy do it yourself fix.
Hazard light switch needs replace which in turn keeps the tunr signals from working. Cheap and easy fix for a car guy.
Otherwise, car runs great. I have taken it down the highway and cruised at 70 with no issues.
Why am I seling her? I travel all the time and rarely have the time to drive it, nor do I have the time to work on it. I am moving to a place where the temp is at 100 for huge chunks of the year. The last thing I need is a convertible baking in the sun while I am in a suit and tie.
PM or email This baby has got to go!
