East German Secret Police Knife

It features Micarta Handles and is marked "ERFURT" on the tang. The Ministerium für Staatssicherheit (Ministry for State Security) knife is now very collectible . 

It features a Satin Polished 3 1/4" 440B Stainless, wide designed, clip point blade that comes shaving sharp factory edge. Measures 4 1/2" closed with a flush mount release brass button located in the center of the handle. This side opener is unique in that it is one of the few models made that uses a spring other than a coil or leaf spring; it is a  unusual torsion spring (V-Spring), that is very powerful.

Ultra heavy-duty Lockback design that locks up like a drum.
