This is really cool knife. The gentleman I bought it off of actually bought it from a Masai Tribesman in 1983, Who knows what this knife has done!!! The blade is made of crude steel and the blade is almost 9 in. long. with handle 12 1/2 inches long. The handle looks to be made out of wood and is covered with some type of skin? goatskin? It is hard but feels light. The sheeth is made of wood and is covered in goatskin and dyed red. I dont really know alot about it just loved it and bought it. It is authentic, if you google it you will see it def is.
