This gorgeous unique design knife was custom made by Steve William. Thereis no other knife like this; it is a ONE OF A KIND beauty. This gorgeous Bird'sEye Pattern Damascus blade is the result of hours and hours of forging, notmany custom makers can keep such pattern of layers upon layers flowing all theway to the edge of the blade, which creates a saw-blade effect at microscopiclevel, allowing the blade to keep cutting while other blades have dulled. SteveWilliam hand-forged the blade of this knife with 1095 and 15N20 high carbonsteel true layers (512). Blade was given excellent heat treatment and Rockwellhardness of the blade along its edge is 59 and along the spine is 42-45. 5.50mm thick blade has fantastic hand grinds on both sides with top side left witha false edge. Overall length of this wonderful unique knife is 13.70" andthe length of the blade is 8.50 inches. Beautiful slim & sleek design handle is made of real Camel Bone, slices of burl wood & BullHorn with brass & fiber spacers. Knife is complimented with a gorgeous hand-forgedDamascus guard and butt cap. Knife feels great in your hand and provides anincredible grip and hold. Weight and Balance of the knife is perfect.
This knife is complete with a top quality extra thick leather sheath. Theleather sheath is totally hand-tooled and sewn. Extra thick leather and strongstitching make this sheath robust which can withstand years of rough and toughuse. The sheath can be worn on belt.
