question on m1 carbine

hey guys, im considering buying an m1 carbine, vintage. which brand is the best here in the u.s.? and when you buy 1, do they still need to do a background check? di ba sa handguns lang ang background checks?

as to brands, am not sure. pero sa cali kailangan parin ang background check. have to go thru with my ar-15 and my remington 870.

I believe same din sa yo dyan sa IL. wala lang din cgurong 10 days waiting period.

The most common brand is Inland, made by Inland Division of GM. There are other brands that are rare but are very hard to find.
