View Full Version : M-3 or M-6?
I will soon be buying a tactical light for my 21. I am planning on buying the M-3, but I was wondering if anybody knew how effective the laser sight is on the M-6. Any Comments?
If you were to make a decision based soley on customer satisfaction, then the m-3 would be the logical route,as the concensus on the m-6 is not so good. the m-6 P.O.A. problems with the laser are widespread and common even in other laser manufacturer's acces. The light of the M-3 is a practical tool that could very well save you butt in a nite time / dark situation , understanding that you are also giving away your position when activating the lite. It may come down to "who is willing to fire the first shot" , another matter all-together that lurks in the back of your mind. Even with this the M-3 is a good thing to have hangin under the barrel {you do have the gen. 3 M-21,right?] The other part of nite shooting would be to install nite-sights in place of the fac. sights. There are many man. of sights avail.,I personally prefer Mepro-sights and have recently installed them on my M-19,M-30.The 12 year warranty is hard to beat and they are a proven product. Tip= get the proper tools or let your gun-smith install them, scrathes last forrrreevvvverrrrr and you'll always regret trying to save a couple buck that way.I did that on my brownihg high-power and now use a touch-up pen to hide my foolishness/cheapness. Hope that helps.
P.S. USAF ? if this means you are serving in the forces then, let me THANK-YOU for protecting and serving OUR country!;Y
