Jonathan Cieners is an absolute jerk but his kits work pretty darn good for most people.

I've been waiting for these to come into stock for the last month. I get home tonight, check my email and the email from midway saying that they're back in stock is here.
YEAH!
So I go to midway--- Out of stock; no backorder.

Get a Spikes or CMMG kit. I wouldn't give Ceiner a penny of my money.

Stupid question. I assumed the Black Dog 25 round .22 magazines were matched for use with the Ciener conversion kits, but when I insert a mag into the well, it a)doesn't lock up in place and b)holds cartridges too far forward for the conversion kit feedramp.

Anyone have any advice before I return the Black Dog mag to Midway?

blackdog makes 2 different magazines one for the ciener conversion and one for the rra conversion. midway's site is messed up right now and says both are for ciener.

Thank your lucky stars you didnt have to deal with a factory issue. Go to the Creek sometime and meet the "man" who you helped keep in business.

I didn't buy it from the man everyone seems to hate, I bought it from Midway USA. If they paid him for it, that's their business.

If I didn't do business with people either I or someone else considered an a-hole, directly, or at one remove, I'd never be able to spend a dime. Does every place you buy things from get their supplies from someplace else you approve of? Maybe their supplier is an a-hole, too.

I'd like to think everyone that I spend money with is a good person with the best intentions and manners, but I know that's not true, or even possible.

My ciener kit has been 100% since I received it a few months ago.

Blackdog sells the consumables for the kit like the spring, firing pin and extractor.

Like alot of black rifle guys, I like to wrench on my guns so if the kit had an issue, I'll just have to figure it out just like I would if I bought it from anyone else.

Money talks and $139.99 is a hell of a deal.

i second that, plus mine is as accurate as my other 22's (except the 10/22 but thats a different story), as a matter of fact it's my new squirrel gun.

Howdy,

Add another +250rds to the count. Only misfires that I've had are from dud bulk ammo.

Well, and old thread comes back.

I'm glad your Ciener works for you. If it ever needs parts you can forget about getting some from Johnny. He will tell you to throw it in the trash and buy a new one. And the only way I know to actually talk to him is to go to Knob Creek shoot. And even then you have to wade through the crowd of people trying to be the next in line to beat his ass.

Arthur Ciener can kiss my *
I'll buy a Spikes kit for $200 before I'd give that * Ciener a dime for his!

The "*" is a starfish,....if you did not understand.

I should state for the record, I bought my Ciener kit when he was the only show in town. Now that he is not the only show in town, I see no reason to buy from Ciener.
