Been doing some shopping, and everywhere I look, even gun shows, prices are pretty high. Anyone have any leads on reasonable prices for new Glocks in Florida? (Preferable near Tampa, but maybe can drive further)

If you're willing to drive, American Pawn in Ocala or Pickett's Weaponry in Newberry. I haven't check lately since I'm in Atlanta, but when I lived down there, that's where I shopped.

Florida Gun Exchange sells them for 499 at the gun shows...used to be 489, but I guess 10 bucks isn't that bad of an increase due to the demand

Yea, I stop in there quite often, I stocked up on 9mm Gold Dots since he has a killer price on 'em. I also plan to buy a Kahr PM9 there soon, but my Glocks are LE so I went to Central Firearms in Tampa for those.

It's been a few years since I've been to Picket, but they used to have horribly high prices. Have they really changed?

Chuck's Gun's in Jupiter. G17 550.00 OTD...

They are jacking up their prices. I was in there at X Mas, most Glocks were $509.., a month or so later it was $519, in March it was $529 :whistling:, took my 8 y/o son there a few days ago after having lunch at the Ale House and they are now $550 :steamed:

They had one G4 RTF 22 for $685 .. the only mods were fact. night sights.. those run usually $80 bucks or so.. that makes the G22 a nice even $600 now... CRAZY. I wanted to pick up two G 22 Mags w/the A&G sleeves but the mags alone from them were $38. I have seen them online for $22 and the sleeves $9

Did you see the big posters they had on the AR-15 wall w/ MLK and Obama ??

I ended up getting a G23 for $509 at the gun show from Shoot Straight. Maybe if I would have kept haggling, I might have been able to beat that, I don't know. Yeah, I talked to TDK, and was interested, would not have saved me money when adding in transfer, or me driving to pick it up (still waiting on ccw :crying:).

On a side note, I had preferred to buy from a small local guy, Smokin' Barrel in Lutz, but he would not budge from the $599 price tag :dunno:

The $509 from Shoot Straight is a good price for them. Did you have to work on them to get it? Their selection is just so wide, gives you a good feel for pricing in the place as they are the first table you come too.

Enjoy the 23.

All I had to do was ask them if they could beat $519, which I had gotten from University Pawn...took the guy 2 seconds to say $509.

Those are excellent prices. I thought they had to add taxes and transfer fees that brought the OTD price well over the $400 mark. Thanks for the heads up

My mistake... I just looked at my bill. They do add tax and a $5 background check. However if you pay via credit card for the glock 26/27 it comes to 415 before above fees. Cash and debit is only $398 before tax and fees. Sorry for the mix up. I bought a bunch of other stuff at the sametime. The new store is nice!!!

I picked up a brand new 23 back in November...paid $519, but it included a free range visit, so minus that, about 500. They said I was just in time, the next day they were raising prices to $549 for new. At the time, they had several LE trade-in's, and those were $449.

Plan on getting my G19 for $465 OTD from B&H Gun Rack in Merritt Island. That includes the $35 GSSF membership to get the LE discount.

There are also stores in Hialeah, Hollywood and Ft. Walton Beach that honors LE discount pricing.

You guys DO know about GSSF right?? If you don't...you're missing out. 1st year's registration fee is $35, and every year after that it's $25. Every year you may request a pistol purchase voucher which entitles you to LE pricing on a glock of your choice. That knocks the price down on your basic package to $398. I went to B&H in Merritt Island and paid $430 OTD. Most places around here are selling glocks for $530+.

after spending 3 months litteraly running around the state wether it was going to gun shows or stores i came to the conclusion that there was a reason why internet shopping is so sucessfull you cant beat the prices. At the time i was able to gt a glock 21 od green with two 13 round clips for $525 and free shipping. But if your commited to fining one in florida i would steer clear from Palm Beach County all the stores know people there have money and the prices of guns are priced accordingly.

My area is lacking in good gun shops, I think a decent one is about 30 - 45 minutes away, and I haven't been to them and seen prices yet.

I went to a local FFL (believe it or not, it's a pawn shop) because I have a LCP being shipped to them for the transfer. While in there I was looking around at what they had. They had a small selection of guns, only one Glock though, but it was NIB and was priced at $499. They said they could get anything I was looking for and the price would be the same as the one they had. I was amazed because for one, they are a pawn shop, and two, they are about the only place in town that sells guns.

I know you'd waste more $ in gas driving down to where I live to make that deal worth it though. You should go online and see if you can find good deals, have them shipped to a FFL in your area with a reasonable transfer fee.
