View Full Version : Hosting podcasts
If I wanted to set up a place where someone could go access a podcast I create, how would I go about doing that? If I set up a domain name from GoDaddy... is that all I need in order to setup a website? Or do I need to look into web hosting? I'm not sure what the difference is... I just want a place to post up some podcasts that I can direct certain people to in order for them to either listen or download the podcast.
Thanks.
you need a domain ( if you want a site by name ) if you don't have one and either a ftp/web server for hosting the files for downloading.
Some things to think over
How creative do you want this to be ?
How big are the podcast?
how much space do you need ?
if you get a web hoster, do they charge by bytes sent ?

I think Godaddy is the best domain hosting. you can use it easily.
