MAJ 04-09-2009, 18:13 Does it have a "P" stamped on it? Just 24 on the slide compensated barrel. P is on the box. GSD17 04-09-2009, 19:25 Ahh yes. The box slipped my mind. What are the first 3 letters of your serial number? The G24 started out at "ATA" IIRC. The first recorded G24C in our serial number project is "ATU". Reason I asked about the stamping is because there are "P" models. Red trainers. I have a G22P. Dr. Rod 04-10-2009, 18:53 How did you get the T and P models? Softail 04-10-2009, 22:24 I have a 24P as well and was wondering what they're worth? GSD17 04-11-2009, 04:46 How did you get the T and P models? The G17T I found for sale online from a private individual, he obtained it from a police department. The G22P I picked out on my last trip to GLOCK in Smyrna and bought it there. My G19 Cutaway was also found for sale online from a private individual. I have no idea where he got it from. GSD17 04-11-2009, 04:48 I have a 24P as well and was wondering what they're worth? Depends. For a collector, you might go to the $700 range if it is all original with it's box and other accessories. For Joe Blow that just wants a G24, he will see that he can get a new one for around the same or less than what collectors are wanting to pay. I'd say average, $500 - $650. Butch 04-27-2009, 00:16 As I recall (read: 'accuracy not guaranteed'), the first G24's could be had with or without a ported barrel, and the slides were not marked with a C or a P. As for the prefix ATU being a 'G24C' is concerned, I'm wondering if whoever posted it just called it that without looking at the box label as my G24P is prefix BMC and the box label shows it to be a G24P. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0603/ButchG17/1b0360f5.jpg We may never know how many G24P's were made before they actually started calling them G24C's. :patriot: chubby5258 04-30-2009, 09:43 I am sure it just ment ported vBulletin® v3.7.3, Copyright ©2000-2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. | ![]() |
