Aimpoints, EOTechs, ACOGs. Depends on your unit and weapon system.

How are the aimpoints holding up.

They hold up quiet well on M-4's. They are a very durable peice of equipment.

My unit also used some C-More Tacticals. They where harder to zero but it was just as hard for them to lose it.

The Aimpoints were my preference for the M4, they were abused and kept right on working. A very strong piece of equipment.

Aimpoints, EOTechs, ACOGs. Depends on your unit and weapon system.

We were also using MARS sights. It has an integrated I.R. Laser so when you zero it during daylight, you also zero the IR for NVG fire.

The only problem was you could not use your BUIS because the sight was just a bit to high. It did have a really durable quick disconnect, and they did not lose their zero.

I am not a fan of ACOG. Magnification can sometimes be more of a pain than it is worth.

Pretty darned well, considering they get abused more than any of your personally owned weapons ever would. I intend to get one for my personal AR. I've used it to qualify on the 300 meter pop-up range and at 5-25 meters for short range marksmanship and it works like a charm. Fast, easy and the batteries last a long time. A magnifying scope wouldn't handle the same range of tasks.

Some people complain that they can't shoot well with it...coincidentally those sam people can't shoot well with iron sights.

The Aimpoint is going to be featured quite prominently in America's Army 3. Don't ask me how I know... :whistling:

I didn't care for the M3 as several of ours including mine lost zero after being banged around alittle while driving tampa, vernon, etc.

The M4 seems to be better and I like the 2 mil dot better than the 4 mil of the M3.
