Hi everyone! I'm trying to do research about what gun I should get. Both of my boyfriends (yes, I have more than 1) agree that given my size and stuff, a Glock 27 is the most appropriate. I have almost no experience with fire arms- I had held my main bf's pistol, but nothing more. Interestingly, it was not to heavy, but it was big and sorta awkward.

A Glock 27 (40 S&W) would be appropriate as well as the G26 (9mm). Glocks make very reliable weapons. There are other quality brands out there. Find a gun that is comfortable in your hands.

Another brand to consider is Bersa: either the Thunder 380CC (Compact Carry) or the Thunder 9UC (Ultra Compact). My wife owns the 380CC and I own the 9UC.
