Any idea how well Norton's "Bleaching" free space works in a Vista environment?

It probably just overwrites the free space with 0's and 1's a bunch of times so that file recovery software would not be able to see anything sitting in that space.

CCleaner will do the same thing, and I'd trust it over Norton any day.

All this time I've been using CCleaner and I didn't realize it could do secure erase. I guess it helps to look through the options.
