These are questions for Suffolk County Long Island residents. I just got my pistol permit is march, so the process to owning a handgun is this
1)buy gun at gunstore
2)take receipt to yaphank and buy purchase doc.
3)take purcahse doc. to gun store and get gun
4)bring gun to yaphank
DId I miss anything? Does all this have to be done? Also, do I (as the license holder) have to personally go to yaphank and buy the purchase doc. or can I have someone else do it? Thanks guys
