Lil brothers Prom pictures
Taken indoors, with a few home-made studio lights
Canon Rebel XT + 70-200 f/4L
I'm learning, and my shots are getting better each time I shoot them.
L Series glass is addictive. I would love to pick up the 28-104 f2.8, but I think I'll have to get the 17-40 f/4 because I dont have the money for the f/28 right now.
Cute.
Nice work.
Great subjects. Pity the flash built-in thing resizes & murders the photos, so it is hard to comment on the technical aspects. In the first one I think I would like to see their feet also. On the second one I might tend toward a more traditional composition, but that's a matter of taste.
Your little brother and his girlfriend, they make a great couple, don't they?

I agree on pic #1
Pic 2 was a spur of the moment thing, but I thought it turned out ok.
is there a way to post a big picture?

Alas, I haven't found a way other than to post just a URL to a picture hosted elsewhere. With the old approach, it was also possible to post a thumbnail pointing to a photo hosted elsewhere, but that seems impossible now, too.

Do you mean EF 24-105mmf/4L IS USM or
EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM?
I have the 24-70 it is my most used lens.
oops I got the numbers mixed up.
I meant to say i think I will have to get the 17-40f.4L as that is all I can afford right now.
