Still working on moving.

My bank does not exist in VA or MD, so I need a new bank or credit union.

Reccomendations?

I like BB&T. I've never had any real issues, and they've been quick to help if I've had an issue.

If you are former military, I strongly recommend the Navy Federal Credit Union.

I know they are pretty big up there, but I cant say about anyone else. NOVA is a different world vs down here.

I use Bank of America. They are every where around here.

BB+T has no gun signs, BoA doesn't.

doesn't really matter, one is about as bad as the other.

I use Wachovia. My account was opened in 1964 as First National Exchange Bank, which later became Dominion Bank, then acquired by First Union which was later acquired by Wachovia, which is now owned by Wells Fargo. Same account number except for a few leading digits and a trailing check digit.

Another vote for Bank of America. I have been with them for about 9 years, never had a problem.

Whoever has a branch close to where you live and/or work. Nothing worse than having to trek to the bank.

No clue up that way, Member One Federal Credit Union around here. They do not have NO GUN signs like BB&T and Wachovia (closed both of those accounts when the signs went up)

I would have to agree with Bank of America. they are gun friendly and great customer service they messed up a deposit that I mad and once I noticed it they had it fixed in about an hour with the full amount put back in my account and takin out of the account that they accidently put it in.
