Used up my Helix Ultra (on the house), so I'm down to Helix Plus.
Outers and Breakfree for light lube apps, and some fragrant
essential oils for points with my wife.

I use low-viscosity synthetic oil. the one's used in screw compressors. you can actually feel the difference in smoothness compared to diesel oils.

Earlier days I did use breakfree for the slide rails on my pistols. They still do work.

i use synthetic motor oil, i think its top one, but i want a more viscous oil so it "sticks" to the rails... :)

Ko bang gamitin ang CLP para sa pangkalahatang pagpapadulas lahat ng dako ng baril.

Hindi ko maintindihan ang wikang ito.

I use super lube clear grease for the rails but after I run out of the stuff I switched to GEAR OIL (140SAE?) the thickest I can find. As for the bore cleaner I still have that stuff in a small (stinky) OLIVE GREEN can I got from stronghand centuries ago.

The gunstores back home saying that Break Free closed is pure hogwash. The US Armed Forces is Break Free's biggest customer. It's just that the gun stores probably haven't imported the product, so they're making up stories.

I use Break Free on my .22 rifles. For my CZ 75B SA, I use FPPF Red Grease on the slide rails and locking lugs. Break Free for the trigger group. It also works best, IMO, on the M16's bolt carrier.

Yes indeed.
CLP is aplicable for all such parts of the firearm. For the beginners out
there, "CLP" is a generic acronym for "Cleaning, Lubrication and Protection",
and BreakFree is just one brand.

Hindi ko maintindihan ang wikang ito.
Bravo! Well done!

Try to look for Super Lube at the hardware at Robinsons Malls (I forgot the name). They carry that brand.

I have some of that .mil stuff from Stronghand, in the small rectangular tins.
Pungent, but I disagree that it stinks. More than gear oil, I mean.
Some gear oil is so bad, you almost don't need to shoot an assailant,
just wave the gun in front of his nose and he's out cold.

If you can spare fully synthetic motor oil such as mobil one, it will do for your slide rails as well as the break free

Sir I already did and they told me na hindi na daw sila nag import ng super lube. I also looked at True Value at alabang town center pero wala na din.:crying:

Sayang. It's a good grease for slides. Another alternative is white lithium grease. There's a brand called Gunk, and they have a good price on white lithium grease. Another lube you may want to try is dry graphite lubricant. It does not streak. Lubriplate's C105 assembly grease is also good.

Use Mobil Gold Fully Synthetic...pag mag change oil ako i always take about half a vial of Nail polish....usually in a year d mo naman maubos un...

after i clean my gun i apply ung grease ni Benos tapos pag puputok na i use synthetic na...

for the bore cleaner... 50-50 vinegar and hydrogen peroxide...IF YOUR BARREL IS STAINLESS...but if not wag na....

Solid FP-10 user ako for everything dati. Tapos Slide Glide grease sa high-friction areas. Not sure kung meron pang FP-10 ngayon.

Breakfree CLP for CLPing.

I use ed's red too - less acetone and lanolin - I'm happy with it both price and effectiveness.

I also use this for bike lube :)
