Some birdies decided to use my Beech as a nest site.
Well, I had to repair some cracks in the tail cone anyway.
So by the time I was done, they had fledged.
But left me a MOUND of straw to remove.

When an errant Blue Bird builds a nest in the intake, I gently remove the nest and place in a contraption that looks like the intake but on a mailbox pole.(it's made out of coffee cans riveted together)
I just place it in front of the intake and they seem to know they've been evicted and move right into the "mobile home".
I just move the whole thing before I take the plane and move them back when I return.
I don't mind sharing my tiedown with them.
