Gun show downtown Jackson, MS 11-12 July

Anybody been to the new Jackson Convention Center (Downtown Jackson)?

I am kind of leery of a gun show downtown:

NOTE: This will be the first Gun Show to be held at Jackson's Newest Convention Facility

Hours: Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 10am - 5pm

I'm sick of going along the coast. The gouging was getting incredible the last couple of months.

Im thinking about going but I just can't get over the "Downtown" aspect of the whole thing. Not a place I'd want to walk out of carrying my new pistol or rifle but hey.....
I will be glad when the show prices get back down to normal again but just as soon as they start to retreat, something else happens to drive them right back up. If I go, I'll post about the whole experience.

As long as you dont go across the tracks you will be ok. I have worked alot down there and I would rather go downtown then where my office is off Industrial Dr
