My brother told me Saturday about this guy who was selling a "2005 Suzuki 660 GSXR" for $2100. I stopped in to see the man selling the bike and it turns out it really was a 2003 GSXR 600 for $1900 but he sold it Sunday!
He said he just wanted to get enough money to get his Harley back from his friend he sold it to. He picked up the Gixxer cheap from a woman from Texas who hit a bird and now wouldn't ride anymore. The husband made her get the bike and she just wanted to get rid of it.
All it needed was a battery because it had been sitting. It had like 4K miles and there was nothing else wrong with it. The guy who bought it brought a new battery and rode it home!:crying:
I wanted that bike for my wife. I also wouldn't mind riding it once in a while. She has a 2006 Suzuki GS500 and the Gixxer would have been a nice upgrade. I have a 2008 Suzuki V-Strom 650 so the 600 Gixxer would have been faster than my bike so I would steal it once in a while for a joy ride.
