Mood music from the movies, Star Wars, Backdraft, Armageddon, Shaniah Twain, Belinda Carlisle, Celiene Dion, Effects CD with in cabin recorded sounds of a Fire Truck on a Code3 Run, Jetranger III Helicopter Spinup and take off, and the reqisite Rolling gun battle. I play what is needed for the effect then make a Cell Phone call to someone and pump up the volume. You would not believe the questions I get, and the answers I give.....

+1 My iPod has a mix of everything, but a lot more than 50 hours worth. I think last time I checked, I was just under 10,000 songs. I also have a few Mp3 discs in my car that I switch out when I don't bring my iPod along. Lately, I've been jumping between an Mp3 disc of every 311 album and an Mp3 disc of the first 5 or so Iron Maiden albums, with some Christmas music thrown in for good measure. :)

Is a combination of Chistian music by M.W. Smith, Twila Paris, and Jaci Velasquez, the Maranatha Singers, and then there are soundtracks from Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera (Broadway version), Cats, Aspects of Love, Les Miserables, Sunset Boulevard, Woman in White, The Secret Garden, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and a few Mozart compositions, plus a few others that escape my failing memory. I am therefore ready to drive day and night.

300 gigs of blues, 1920-2010.

How else would a guy get Meryl Streep & Blue Rodeo doing (I'm checking out of this) Heartbreak Hotel?

Or James Cottons 'You got my nose open' ..

Or Mississippi John Hurt doing 'Louis Collins'. .

Or Josh White 'Jesus won't you make up my dyin' bed'..

or Reverend Gary Davis doin' most anything.. or Furry Lewis, or Mississippi Fred McDowell
