At least that's their price!
Thanks,
Deaf
IMO, no.
Considering what else is out there at $300 and the fact that the EG are the most desirable.
Room to wiggle would be nice though.

Well Berto, I have one EG and one Bulgie. Now if I snached this one and later tried to trade for a Ruskie or Chinese.... I'm not in a hurry to burn through $300 bucks though. I might just keep an eye on it.
Neat thing was today I picked up a miliary Mak set of Ruskie grips for ten bucks. Hard to find those now days!
We will see if the EG Mak stays put at the shop for a while.
Thanks Berto.

To buy for trade bait....too much in that case. You could still find an IJ70 for less than $250, I'd think, at least.

In good shape I think $300 is a decent price now days.
At the last couple gun shows all the few Maks available were $300 or above.
Recently I bought a like new Russian Mak for $300.

Sadly though M2, I paid $105 for my EG! Hate paying $300 for the same gun nowdays!

Hell, I paid the equivalent of $14 for my EG Maks when I was stationed in Berlin, GE. I got them so cheap I didn't even get my tax back on them.
I knew the price had gone up but not that high.

I don't own a Mak, but saw an E.G in excellent condition in a local SC shop 18 months ago for $150. I convinced a friend who had one of the infamous S&W 380s to buy it. I think that it was a steal at that price. Now if I could only convince him to get rid of the S&W.....!
I paid $190 for a Russian Commercial/adjustable sight in 380. The gun had absolutly no marks on it to indicate that it had been fired. I got it from a dealer in the Atlanta area. So, I think $300 is too much. Heck, you could find a PPK, used for around $350 from an individual.

That is a deal!

Where I live dealers have Bulgarians for close to $400. 2 years ago an importer was selling EGs for $300 (no papers, mismatched mags).

So, Deaf Smith, did you buy it or let it pass?

Saw another excellent condition EG Makarov at the Columbia/SC gun show last weekend for $350.
