Do you know any good firearms stores with a stock of decent size on the route from Jersey City to Lakewood?

What do you need to pick up? Firearms or Ammo?

I am in south Jersey so I can't help you too much from your start place in Jersey City.

If it's ammo only Dicks in Freehold (pretty much the best prices around here). Lakewood has two stores/rental places that sell guns/ammo: Shore Shot and Brick Armory, both in Lakewood Industrial Park.

actually there is an awesome gun store and range in lakewood. Its called Brick Armory address is 1955 Swarthmore Avenue Lakewood, NJ

I purchased my first (and favorite) Glock at the Brick Armory. Also purchased at Shore Shot - both places a recommend.

How is Ammo stock in Freehold Dick's?

East Brunswick is sparse with handgun loads.

Freehold Dick's is about the same as East Brunswick when it comes to ammo stocks the last couple of times I went there.

There's also L&H Sporting Goods on Rt 35 in Wall Twp. They have a small selection of firearms.

Very interesting discussion, guys. I wasn't aware of this thread. I live at the shore in south Jersey, Atlantic City area. :suntan: Now that I've "found" you, I'll keep in touch. Looks like ammo is now coming in.
Dicksin EB got in 16 cases of 9mm and various other Handgun loads.

3 box limit and not cheap @ 15.99 box for range ammo, but it is a start.
