At about an hour and a half away, it would have to be an all-day deal for me. Kinda sucks that AK/SKS 'type' rifles are only allowed on the 'tactical' range.

I went to the open house, it doesn't look like it's really that close to opening yet. I am hopeful yet skeptical. Things were pretty rough still.

So how did this turn out?

Last time I was in the BIG O the two gunstores right of 441/98 and down the way, had talks about this gunrange club.

I asked about this. They told me that they had unruly shooters with AK's that were a-holes on the old rifle range and unsafe so they banned AK's from the regular rifle range. Figures. My guess is amateurs or gangbangers. Too much TV.

Really sucks they let a couple of bad apples ruin it for everyone else. Are they gonna do this if some idiots go there and shoot their pistols in an 'unruly' fashion? Punish those being idiots, not everyone else. But it's their range, their rules.

I would put money on the gang bangers
