I work part time at a gunstore and I frequently cruise our distributors website and in the last couple of weeks have ordered 3 2009 HPs. The first 2 were adj sight standards and they sold rather quickly.

Yesterday I saw a standard fixed sight and quickly ordered it, it came in today and I quickly claimed it for me. You have to love that crisp Belgian blue finish. This one will go into the safe unfired (I have 4 more that I shoot) One of my grandsons will end up with this one!!!

I picked up my second standard, fixed-sight BHP today. (April 2009 build) Absolutely stunning. I have completely fallen in love with this pistol platform. I coincidently ran across a 69C in excellent condition two weeks ago and picked it up for good price. A trip to the range confirmed that this is what I've been looking for. I immediately started looking for a NIB standard. Nearly impossible to find right now, but I lucked up on Gunbroker.

Of course, I'm not fortunate to have a half a dozen of these jewels. This new one will go to the range just like its older brother.

End of story......a regular customer came in and saw my HP, he said he carried one in Viet Nam and had always wanted another one....he sold the HP to another GI who had months to go in Nam.

I let him have it................I actually prefer older HP's
