Ruger Single Six .17hmr

Ordered a 5.5" stainless Ruger SS in .17hmr today. Should have it by Friday. Tired of dealing with finicky autos. I'll throw some pics up once I get it in hand. Should be a good partner to my Savage 93R17GV rifle in .17hmr.

I love the .17 HMR from a rifle, I'm not convinced that it's the best round for shorter barreled handguns. I think it loses too much velocity in them.

My thoughts too when I pulled up the thread, but I'm gonna wait for the 'report' from the new owner.

Congrats on a new gun though! Any new gun in your hand is better than the one in the shop that doesn't belong to you.
