Had a friend who called and need some help with a few yotes who were getting close to the yard. Took my 6 year old with me. She popped out of a creek bed about 200 yards from me. Took her down with the Savage .223.

Nice shot. I don't know what it is, but I dislike coyote's intensely.

I have a similar situation. The neighbor has some bold coyotes coming near the house, probably young of the year. I'm talking 12 noon backyard coyotes. We have to much corn around for cover but I plan to make a move soon. Good job.

Congrats man. One less, 100 cazillion to go  Nice coat for this time of the year. Ours don't get real nice coats down here that much, at least not compared to midwestern and northern coats.

Hey I got one too! Sorry no pictures. I caught it out back about an hour after daybreak. I used the 243 & all worked out very well. Now maybe the others will stay a little further away, or meet the same fate.
