While I do not agree that he should be charged with pre-meditated murder or in the death of the Al-Qaeda member, he still should be in jail.

Hold on before you flame me. Hear me out. Ive had to deal with the outcome of people like that my entire Army career, and it pisses me off ever time I hear about soldiers doing this stuff. Believe me Ive lost several friends and had to personally bury several fallen soldiers. Soldiers actions like his just make our jobs even harder.

He disobeyed several Army regulations that are held very seriously. His actions are the same actions that have caused trouble for the Army and certain MOSs. A.) conducted a illegal Interrogation, he is in no way trained or authorized to conduct one. That alone according to Regulations constitutes jail time right there. B.) He failed to properly report it or gave a false report.
