Despite the projected track shown above (bad enough for Northern Luzon)
This typhoon could veer southwards, due to a high pressure ridge to the east
of China; and if also slows down, it'll be dumping a lot of rain on us, so make
sure you're all prepared.

Expected landfall tonight (Fri Oct 30). It is not consistently strengthening. However, its slow track
(just 14kts) means it won't just pass quickly through. It'll have plenty of time to dump moisture on
Luzon... and let's not kid ourselves, it's bringing a LOT of the wet.

Hopefully, it'll have effectively left us by late Sunday afternoon, Nov.1... but if there's been flooding,
then observing All Souls' Day as it should be, on Nov.2 rather than on All Saints', (or maybe later)
will probably prevent extra demand on .gov's emergency and relief services.

the typhoon's track towards a more southward path than earlier projections.

Any updates? Any water rising anywhere. Can't sleep. I keep on imagining being woken up by my floating gun cabinet.
I think i'll wait this out and just get some sleep when the weather calms down a bit.
Bogs in the lowlands, update nalang dito if there's something we should know about.
We seem to be dodging a bullet.
Apparently, Santi/Mirinae dumped a lot of its moisture to the east of Bicol,
out in the Ocean, just as the typhoon's eye hit the Luzon coastline.

may tubig na sa amin mga bro sa sta cruz laguna, we are a bit far from the lake but til now hangang bewang na ang tubig sa amin. hope di na tumaas

malakas din sya, hindi din kami naka tulog derecho, bahay ni yaya sa likod kumalampag ang yero, nawala kuryente, maraming saging naputol, but thanks to japan metoerological agency, our prepearations were adequate enough na tulog lang nawala sa amin. unlike nung milenyo na naka asa kami sa pagasa (nice rhyme!), hirap na hirap kami. if we made the same prep now during milenyo malaking luwag sana. nung milenyo inabangan namin last news forecast ng pagasa sabi nila sig#2 daw, pagdating ng bagyo ka ko hindi na ata 2 ito parang 5 na. if i had known, pagasa talaga.

A few hours after the typhoon , went to sta cruz to visit relatives
Highway from Bay to sta cruz had deep floods in parts
Out of the convoy of vans and cars some na kagigising lang sa kalye, 2 lang kami nakalusot
Water from the hills rushing to laguna de bay , lakas ng current
Thick mud everywhere sa daan

4x4 - go on low 4 then stay on first let go of clutch and crawl. While doing this say the rosary :)
