Best way to view photos on a TV?

I have a friend who is going to soon purchase a new HDTV and she wants to be able to view her digital photos on it and show them to friends & clients.

I found something like this:

which looks like it would fit the bill nicely, since it has built-in wireless and a remote control, even a swappable hard drive!!!

What do you guys think?

It needs to have a fairly slick interface; I'm not going to hook a PC up to her TV and have her using a wireless keyboard & mouse to navigate, find the pictures, etc.....

Have the friend look for a HDTV with a built-in memory card slot, most of them have one for viewing photos.

You can also use use Windows Media Center to view pictures on your TV if you have it hooked up. :wavey:

I just leave the card in the camera and plug it in to the TV and push slideshow.

Thanks guys, but I'm really looking for a more comprehensive, easier interface for her.

Thanks for your ideas so far, but the problem is I'd want to make it a little more seamless, instead of having to deal with plugging stuff in, inserting and removing cards, etc., I'm more interested in something like the box I posted in my OP that seems that it would operate more like a cable box with a remote control and friendly GUI, as well as drawing pictures right from her computer.

The problem with simply inserting a card or plugging the camera into the TV is that you are (obviously) limited to only those pictures stored on the card. She wants all her pictures to be accessible.

So I'm really looking for ideas or suggestions along those lines....does that make sense?
