Food questions for you ladies

I have a chicken in the freezer been there about a month, two weeks ago I put it in the fridge to thaw, it was in the fridge long enough to thaw then someone put it back in the freezer where it still lives, It's always been kept cold but is it still good :cool:

How long was it thawed? that'll determine if it'll make you sick. re-freezing's gonna seriously lower the quality anyway. I'd toss it.

If it reached a temperature of over 38 degrees, throw it.
If it didn't you could probably make ok soup with it.

Dude, toss it. Once you thaw chicken out, you better use it, and within 48 hours, if not sooner. With poultry, you can never be too careful. The same goes with pork.

toss it - once it is thawed you must either cook it or toss it. you could get really sick from it now!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to the Dept. Of Ag., you could have refrozen the chicken had it been thawed in the refrigerator, thawed there, and then been refrozen right away. Toss the bird!

My philosophy has always been: If in doubt, throw it out!
Buying new food is always cheaper than getting sick.

I'm sure you already made a decision, but I'd not take the risk of making anyone sick. Throw it away!
