Any of you use a hard cast lead 175 grain SWC?

No, only Speer Gold Dot

I use a 180 grain moly coated LSWC behind 9.5 grains of Longshot. It is a stout load that I use as a trainer for my 180 grain XTPs. It is slightly faster than the XTP with the same charge. Shoots a tad lower at 25 yds. Leading is not a problem. Starline brass and CCI std primers are used. Velocity is around 1320 fps. out of my KKM barreled G20.

That is all I shoot in my 1076. I worked up a load using Unique and have obtained exceptional accuracy.

Some of my Steel and Bowling Pin friends try 175 LSWCs in G20s, they all have problems regardless of OAL or PF. I think that is just a Glock thing though. I have no problems with 175 TC out of my KKM Compensated barrel. What kind of pistol do you have?

I have loaded 175gr LSWCs in the 10mm, and even though they fed, I could feel every bump and hiccup in the feed cycle through my grip. That said, they were accurate enough.

I've switched to the 175gr LTC Lee mould. It feeds like butter, as it's profile is identical to the standard bullet that this cartridge was designed around.
