It looks like I have survived another year of living with CML Leukemia reasonably sane. I was at the local Pasadena, TX gun show earlier this month, and spotted a gentleman with a booth with some private sales. He had a cherry Ruger Service Six, and I still can kick myself for selling my Security Six years ago. Once I found out he was selling it for a friend fighting cancer at M D Anderson ( my alma mater), I knew I had to buy the gun. It's a 4" blue model, was in 95% condition, locks up tight and I found shoots to point of aim. Yippee! Gun was made in 1980, paid $350 out the door for it. I will probably shoot 38's out of it, did shoot some 158 gr 357 loads in it and found it is a bit of a knuckle knocker. I never thought my hands were all that big!
