Finally had a chance for some trigger time with her. I am impressed ! What a sweet shooter. The GAP seems to be a little underrated. More accurate than the 19, at least for me. Way more powerful. All the haters of the caliber just don't know what they're missing. Can't wait to get her to the range again. I'm glad I found the club or probably wouldn't have got her. Thanks to all you Bull Dawgs.

Good deal. Glad it's working out well for you.

It's my favorite Glock, and I've owned most at one time or another. Only thing better would be a Gen4 G38. Someday..........

My G38 has become my daily carry over my 19, my 32, my Para LTC, etc. Just can't get myself to leave it in the safe in the morning. See my signature line for my reasoning - IT'S JUST THAT GOOD! And I haven't even discussed the way it shoots and handles for follow up shots... toooo sweeeet.

It's really hard to express what a great carry gun and SD caliber the 38 is to someone who hasn't bothered to experience one because of short sighted prejudice and stubbornness. Best caliber since the 45 ACP; best combat sidearm since the G19!

.45 gap the new and improved acp.

When will they start making the .45 gap in the old 1911 model?

Para Ordnance did for a short time, and Springfield planned to, but they dropped it due to lack of interest. :crying:

Yeah, that's really unfortunate. I'm still hoping for a Springfield XDm in .45 GAP that would hold 13+1 rounds.

For those carrying the 38, what holster are you using?

I use the following holsters with my G38:

Blade-Tech OWB, straight drop (for IDPA)
Blade-Tech Nano IWB
Raven Ghost (fits all my Gap's)
Raven Phantom

My favorite is the Ghost, followed by the Phantom.
