Here is a link to a 1911 comparison done by Dave Severns of Severns Custom.
https://severnscustom.com/Home_Page.html
Dave does an in depth comparison of a NIB Dan Wesson Valor, NIB Les Baer TRP and an LNIB Ed Brown Kobra.
He then does Ransom tests on those three plus a Kimber Classic Custom, Sig GSR, Colt Combat Elite, Severns Custom modified Valor, Fusion 9mm CBOB "kit" gun.
Really well done.
GREAT writeup. Kinda surprised that the EB was all over the place.

Nice to see Dave likes the TRS as much as he does. How about those groups out of the Colt. :faint:

Nonsense. Are you smoking crack or something?  :grouphug:

Yeah, that was kinda scary. I've seen a stock Colt be a one hole gun and others that would probably print something similar to that. Ya never know.
I'm gonna say this. I was REALLY impressed with the Valor, given it's price point, there's no reason people should be paying as much for a Kimber when DW offers 1911s like that.

Figured that would be your reply.
The Colt was amazing,......

+1
Like he said, it was just one example of each.
I'm just glad that my Kobra Carry is fit better, and shoots better than the one he tested!!
looks good, but there's a couple of things...
the Kobra is an older model, i wonder how a newer one would perform.
how different would the results be using better ammo.
