Prevailing thought among AU fans ........






As a die hard Auburn fan I recently had a co-worker who was a Bama fan
lean into my office and ask me if I was going to cheer for Alabama in
the National Championship. As they looked at the Auburn decor in my
office they informed me that I should always cheer for the SEC. As I
pondered my response I finally came up with one.

Question: As an Auburn fan will I cheer for Alabama when they play Texas
in the National Championship Game?

I would have to say not "No" but, hell "No". In fact on the day of the
National Championship I plan on waking up and eating some Tex-Mex food
which would include Texas Toast dipped in Texas Pete hot sauce. Then I
will sit down and watch episodes of Walker Texas Ranger on TV. Then I
might rent the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre. When I tire of that I will
do the Texas Two Step while listening to the band Little Texas singing
my favorite song "Deep in the Heart of Texas". All while wearing the hat
of my favorite baseball team the Texas Rangers. I wouldnt cheer for
Alabama if Charles Manson or the Taliban was playing for the other team.


So in summary from an Auburn fan, Hookem Horns!

Mossy, Mossy, it's OK. We understand. Auburn had a partially decent game against Alabama... the Tide are national champions...ergo, Auburn did well against the champions so they must be somewhat good.
Seriously, there are some of us that pull for teams in this order. Alabama, Auburn, SEC West, SEC (except TN), then teams of choice. My team of choice is going to be my alma mater, but if South Alabama ever plays Bama, I will be wearing Bama clothes.

Yes It was a wasted. In fact it Wasnt worth waiting for. I believe Colt Befriended all his Long Horn Nation. For what? First round draft pick maybe. Let the rookie lose it. Hell if thats all Texas had; any SEC team even my Beloved Tigers would have beaten them. Until next year. WAR DAMN EAGLE! I cant wait until the tigers Hook"em up with the Natty Champs.
