Traded a gun and some cash for this today...
I am new to AR's, so I really am not sure what all I have yet.
It's a Colt Match Target Competition HBAR 20" barrel with a Surefire rail, Leupold Mark 4 scope and a TDI bipod. Has a flash suppressor that is hiding the twist that is wrote on the barrel. I believe it's a 1 in 9 tho.
Anybody have any good info / links on this type of AR? Value? I got it at a really good price from a really good friend!
I am really getting into this AR stuff, so any tips on factory ammo for this setup, improvements that I could make etc.. would be greatly appreciated!

I'd say the rifle itself without the rails, scope, ect... is worth about $900.

Need a bit more information on the scope, depending upon model it could be worth as much as $1,000 brand new. So any where from $300-$750 used.

The Surfire rail is about $200 new so $100-$150 used.

Total package could be worth as much as $1,800.

It looks like a post ban AR15 with no bayonet lug. Is the flash hider screwed on or held in place with set screws?

That barrel if it is the factory one shoulf be a 1-in-9 twist.
Should have NOT been threaded for a flash hider. That looks like one
of the old Commando 14.5" barrel Carbine flash hiders.

It's a Model 54680 Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20x50mm LR/T

It is not threaded, has a set screw on the bottom.

It is a 1:9, I removed the flash hider and it says it on the barrel.

If it's not a knock off:

Nope, I bought the AR from a very good friend of mine, I was with him when he bought the scope last year, didn't know what he paid for it, but I helped him pick it out.
