Just installed this trigger in my Mil-Spec.It seems to be sticking out of the frame too far.Is that normal ? Should the 2 small holes be exposed like that ? 188768

JMHO, but it looks fine to me. Adjust the over travel screw until the trigger breaks correctly w/o issues. If the pin holes are still visible, call Wilson. They will most likely be able to give you a definitive answer. HTH. Sincerely. Brucev.

Looks like a long trigger. You may want a medium if you dont want to see that.

I have never seen that much of the back of the trigger be exposed before. Looks like something is out of whack to me.

I was told by a gunsmith on another forum that it is normal for that particular trigger.
Thanks for the replies...:wavey:

It does look kind goofy but it's not like you can cut some length out of the bow and reweld it. Unless you're Chuck.

Schooling is good! I install short solid triggers on all of my 1911s, it is good to learn something new about the long triggers.

Ok 3rdGen'

You motivated me to order the trigger I've been wanting for the Brown.
