Silhouette in the 45?

I've been loading and shootin WST in my 45 for awhile now and it is truly awesome. That said, I also like to experiment with new powders. I've decided to put the WST away for awhile and play with other powders in my 45s. According to Ramshot data, Silhouette seems pretty interesting. Velocities seem pretty high even for starting loads. As I have 4 lbs of Silhouette, thought I might give it a try.

Anyone have any first hand experience with Silhouette in their 45?

Ramshot Silhouette is in the same burn rate neighborhood as Alliant Power Pistol and Vihtavuori N340. It's a medium to medium-slow burning powder that ideally works best in higher pressure cartridges.

That being said, though, it can certainly work great in the lower pressure .45 ACP, although you may get your best results with the warmer loads in this cartridge.
