Sadly it wasn't my little sweeties from UPS... I would have paid double just to have her come up here again. Had almost a full pot of coffee.

Dawg (German Shepherd) was raising hell while the guy was standing on the back deck so he just backed and set the box on the deck. Didn't ask me to sign anything.

Took the box into the loading room, first box out was a carton labeled CCI Large Pistol primers. Check.

Second box was a carton labeled CCI Small Rifle primers. Huh? Wasn't happy, ordered SP primers. Figured I'd have to call powder Valley and let them know about the screw up. Wasn't looking forward to the hassle.

Next box had 8# jug of Unique. Check.

Tore the shipping invoice off top of box... it reflected 5K LP and 5K SP plus the Unique. Strange.

Slit open the SR box, surprise, 5K SP primers. I felt better... drank what would have been my sweetie's coffee. Her loss. :whistling:

Okay, so you get the same order delivered to your house once a week for the last three weeks and you don't have alzheimer's? Either that or you keep posting the same story...

HA! Thought you were going to trip up a feeble old man.

Got an order of 10K primers about 2 or 3 weeks ago after some kind soul on here posted that primers were in stock. (You're right about one thing... I can't remember who they came from but as I recall the were $24 per K.

Last Thursday I got an e-mail from Fed-Ex with a tracking number for a PV shipment. Couldn't remember what I'd ordered from them

Just an hour or so later got an e-mail invoice from PV... an order I made last April.

Was hoping it was going to be delivered last Friday or Saturday, (don't think they do Saturday deliveries unless you pay more) but they didn't show up until this morning.

See, ya didn't get me... just don't ask what I had for breakfast... or even if I actually had breakfast... I can't remember. :faint:

Edit: It really seems that getting primers on-line is pretty easy now. At least once a week someone is advertising primers in stock. Ordering at least 10 K at a time should put us all in pretty good shape through fall... although I'm still not confident enough not to have a pretty good reserve. At $22 to the $28 range I'm sure I could take any excess to the range and get my money out of them, if not a few bucks over.

Jack has kegs of powder, thousands of bullets and cases of primers, a lot of it dating back to the late 50s & early 60s!
But he often forgets and reorders, then forgets he reordered ?

I'll have you know that my mind is still sharp as a tack. Why it wasn't more than a week ago that I went on-line and ordered three pair of bell-bottom pants and a lime green leisure suit.

See, I still remember that I'm supposed to clothed... and in style. :whistling:

The leisure suit or the primers and powder? The PV order was placed the middle of last April.

You need to drop stronger hints to your sweeties.

Order 10K Viagra pills and 8# of Cialis. :whistling: The heck with the primers
