<!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> Well all, i finally bought a Remington 870 Express with the 26' barrel!
Here is a link http://www.remington.com/products/fi...0-express.aspx (http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/model-870/model-870-express.aspx) i'm pretty excited to pick up this shotgun and take it skeet shooting, on the other hand, does anyone have suggestionshttp://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif on where to buy a smaller 18' barrel? Thanks in advance!

They make two 18.5" barrels in the matte finish and both have bead sights. One is $131 from Remington and the other is threaded for Rem Choke and is $148

I recommend the 18.5" parkerized polcie barrel with bead sight and fixed I/C choke as it is only $101 from Remington. Yes, that's right the police barrel is $30 less then the express barrel

You can also go to www.aiptactical.com (http://www.aiptactical.com) and put your cursor on Accessories and find all the barrels you could want for a 870 Tactical weapon. The same 18.5" Express barrel is only $121 as they are gun smith take offs and come of the new 870 that the AI&P Tactical shotguns are built on.

Rider,

You did good on your choice, it will serve you well.
And with a few parts you can change your hunting
gun into a first class HD shotgun.
I have an 870 Express Turkey that I'm going to send
to that J.D. fellow at www.aiptactical.com and have
him do his magic on and turn it into a good tactical
gun that I can also use for turkeys.
Do check his sight out. There are tons of 870 info.
there and he also has just about anything you may
want for your 870, plus he knows 870's. Good luck.

Thank you all gentleman, if you all remember my old posts i was not sure what to get, but forked it up, i would have bought a shotgun with a smaller barrel but i will be using this shotgun for also skeet shooting, since i have a range only 15 miles away.

(J.D) How would i transfer funds $ over to buy your barrel, i'm confused on the info on your site, break it down for me)
