Found some rounds like these in a box of CCI Blazer. What do you think, safe to shoot?

No, that much extra compression can create much higher pressures.

Don't chance it. Pull the bullet, dump the powder, load the empty casing in one of your mags, shuffle mags, go shoot. See what happens and how quickly you get the gun back in the fight. Or not. I wouldn't try shootin' 'em.

Somebody dropped a case of ammo.

Send a pic to CCI Blazer. They can tell you for certain if it's dangerous. Odds are they will want it back and will also replace it at no charge.

Light bullet 9mm setback doesn't scare me as much at heavy bullet .40S&W would, but it's best to be safe.

I agree here on this statement from JohnKSa . But that being said, "I" would shoot them, but I am a widcatter. MY ADVICE to you, would be do not, and call CCI. Hey you paid for the dang things, they ought to be perfect......

Good luck and stay safe.

My rule of thumb is more than 1/16" (about 0.06") setback & they get pulled not shot. You can get by a bit more w/ a low pressure 45acp, but your call.

Somebody dropped a case of ammo.

There is no indication of any damage to the shipping box, all the corners are squared off and everything looks okay.

Going through the rest of the case and still finding more.

I sent a few pics to CCI and we'll see what they have to say. :dunno:

I would think, if you measure OAL, and they are above Min. spec, you will be fine shooting them.

I got some that look like that too in my 250 rem mega packs. How do you pull the bullet out with pliers?
