I was just messing around looking through some pages and came across these. I didnt even know CT made wooden grips. I think they look pretty nice.

They're cheap printed plastic.
haha good to know. I probably should have read about them. If they were wooden they would be nice. I bought a set of esmeralda's anyways, i was just showing anyone who cared.

Cheap plastic, yes.
Great tool, yes.
I have seen many "look at me" grips made from just about anything to Woolly Mammoth tusks. The Woolly Mammoth tusks don't do any thing more than a 15 dollar set of wood grips. CT's do the job of regular grips and more.

I just don't like the way they're marketed. Same as your "carbon fiber" which is actually printed plastic too.

That is why it is called a Carbon Fiber finish. I have a Flame finish gips only because I got them super cheap, but does anyone that has a lick of sense think they are made of real flames?
Some folks have to use commonsense or do a bit of homework.

And there was a Chain Mail finish too...anybody think they they were made of thousands of tiny metal ringlets?
