Hi i am looking for a good quality knife for camping/hiking, I dont want a real big one just a smaller one with a leg sheath, But i cant seem to find anoybody that sells good knives with a leg sheath(only crappy ones). Can you guys point me in the right direction please?

P.S. I really prefer a leg sheath seeing how i have knives that i can attach to my belt.

I see. The only ones I can think of would be dive knives.

This one is double edged and not of the best steel...

I guess you can attach it to a leg though.

you can put any sort of sheath on a knife. It won't make it a better knife.

A good camp knife is a RAT III in D2 steel, and it comes with a Kydex sheath.

You can buy a S&W wide boot knife, model 830, for <20$ and it comes with a NICE leather sheath that's worth 20$.. but it's not a leg sheath unless you strap it on your leg. Don't buy the boot knife if double edged daggers are illegal to carry in your location. They are in MANY places.

why would where you carried it make any difference to the buying choice in the first place? I can see the blade steel being a dealbreaker or even the handle material, but the sheath?
