Mossberg Safety Replacement

It's come time to swap out the plastic safety on my Mossberg 500. There are several good options out there and I'd like to get some of your opinions/experiences.

First up is the standard metal safety that has a slightly rased "nub". Looks good, priced right.

I'm also interested in the Vang oversized safety. It's also metal and I've heard good things about their products.

Most interesting (and ugly) is the Cavalry Arms oversized safety. This caught my eye because I have a Knoxx Spec Ops stock on my 500 so reaching the safety is a pain. This may help the problem but I'm concerned it's too big and I'll be made fun of at the range. :embarassed:

What do you guys think? Have you replaced the plastic on your Mossbergs? FWIW I don't even use the safety unless loading/unloading or transporting.

I swopped out mine a few years ago,it's kinda tricky and easy to lose the small ball bearing,be carefull and take your time,might want to read into it more,youtube it maybe?

I have the Vang on my SBR. I really like it and will probably pick up atleast one more. I also have the Cav Arms stock conversion which uses the cav arms over sized safey. the picture does not really let you realize how big it is. it is about as wide and the shotgun receiver itself. If I take the conversion off, which I probaly will be doing very soon. I'll replace it with a Vang safety.
