Age old Surefire Question

First off, let me say I really want a surefire 310r.. and if anyone has one for sale or knows someone who is selling one please let me know,

with that out of the way...


Anyone know why Surefire stopped making these?

I have the similar model for the Beretta 92 and it is amazing. I want one for a 1911 and just don't understand why they would stop producing them and why no other companies have made a similar product
