Just bought my first Ruger (2.25 101) and was wondering how and in what other owners are carrying them. I use Mitch Rosen IWB Clipper for a H&K sk and comp-tac 2 Oclock's for a J frame and a Kahr pm9.
So what say you, any recomendations. Im thinking about OWB without the retaining strap, just one of the tight fit ones.

Also, if anyone has any holsters for one for sale, Please PM me.

Regards

I use a Mitch Rosen 5JR express. Nice craftsmanship, even for a lower price model. Comfortable and secure. I thought about getting a Comp Tac, but I like the Rosen so much I figured I would never use it.

I use a Simply Rugged Silver Dollar Pancake with the IWB straps (they're able to come off, so it can be used both OWB and IWB).

I also carry a quick strip in a Simply Rugged pouch.

No retention straps, but holds the gun nice and tight. Good stuff!

I ordered a Simply Rugged Pancake holster for my SP 101. Very well made and I like the way it rides high and tight.

I pocket carry in a DeSantis Nemesis.

But I'm a pretty big boy.

I just got a holster manufactured by K&D Holsters. Very comfortable. Their new design allows for IWB or OWB carry with the same holster. Here is a pic off their site..

If I'm simply running in to town I carry it Mex style. I have a Don Hume JIT slide for it should I want to carry it for a longer period of time.

My preferred SP101 holster is the Milt Sparks PMK. From 2002-2007, my usual concealed set-up was two SP101 snubbies. I started with Galco Concealables, then moved on to the PMKs. I still carry SP101s some of the time, but reverted to an old habit of usually carrying my duty pistols concealed when off the clock.

Crossbreed ST and I love it! I can wear that thing all day and not notice it. I also swapped the stock grip for some badger custom grips (the boot cut) and it is a breeze to carry. Grips are smooth so they don't get caught up on cover garments.

I have the 3 1/16 inch SP 101. It is a great little packing gun. I really like the Simply Rugged Pancake holster for mine.
