If someone could dust off their formula for 147gr lead flat point with Bullseye, I'd appreciate it.

Lyman manual has 2.8-3.5gr and OAL of 1.058". This is out of my CZ with 'regular' rifling BTW, possibly my HiPoint carbine also.

BTW the Hogdgon data center has the OAL as 1.169 (max) so why does my Lyman have it so short? I need to set it for chambering reliability anyway but 1.05?

Don't use Bullseye with a 147g lead FP only Solo1000 3.7g @ 1.130 OAL. Can't give you exact velocity on this one but do know that 3.5 runs about 890 (130PF). I needed to bump it up for accuracy and try to tone the smoke down a little.

Bullseye burns too dirty for my tastes. It's accurate but the amount of fired residue inside/outside the gun is substantial.

Try 3.8grns. WST for an accurate, clean burning, low impulse load good for 950fps depending on barrel length. You can go as low as 3.2grns. for a gamer load and it'll still run stock Glock 9mms reliably without a spring change.

AA #7 across the 9mm spectrum for me, with Blue Dot not far behind.

I use 3.7 grns of WSF for 147 and it works like a champ.

I use 3.2 gr. of tightgroup with a oal of 1.13 if memory serves. I've not seen any pressure problems. With that oal I can load lead softs and hollow points without moving my dies and both load well.

I show one load for 147 cast bullet, shape not mentioned, and it is a MAXIMUM load of 4.1 grns of WSF.

If we consider any bullet construction, 147 grn weight, with Bullseye, loads range from 3.0 to 4.2. Velocities out of 4" to 5.2" bbl start @ 850 fps and go to 1050 fps.

My Lyman Handbook shows no 147 grn. cast loads.
