FHP Will Get Gen4 G37's

According to very reliable sources here on G/T, Florida signed a contract with Glock for about 3,000 Gen4 G37's to be delivered in June. That makes 5 State Police Agencies out of 49 using the G37 pistol. Not bad for less than 6-1/2 years on the market.:cool::cool::cool:

I'd like to see the GAPs be the next to become Gen4 as a result of the FL contract. It'd be nice to see a G38 Gen4.

It would be wise in a marketing and operations sense to give the GAPs a little push by having an earlier release than other models.

I am really looking forward to seeing and testing one of the new Gen4 G37's. The new recoil spring system (for larger framed Glocks) and the Grip panels have really sparked my curiosity. I have a G37 and was thinking about trading it in for a new Gen4 if they go over well. Hopefully they will have any kinks worked out before they hit the streets.

I don't remember which forum, but there was a FHP Trooper who posted reporting that the G37's performed well in their T&E. He stated that they REAL NICE!:cool:
