A Surefire and a 1 inch scope ring. Bud I use my AR at work and still am an instructor at work. I have a couple grand in my AR with the best of the best. I have a 9p with a LED head and a click cap all held on with a 1 inch ring.

You can go crazy and spend several hundreds of dollars and not beat that setup.

I would get a Surefire LED 2 or 3 cell light and try a scope ring first to see if it works for you too before you buy some 80 dollar mount.

I'm not familiar with too much CCA stuff so how do you turn on that light?

the grip is pretty cool, its got pressure switch recesses on both sides and its hollow in the middle, itll hold batteries, extra couple of rounds, cleaning kit, whatever you wanna shove off in their. its also got a push button safety so you can lock out the light so it doesnt come on when you dont want it to

I went with an $80 Fenix TK11 Premium and a $25 VTAC offset mount. Works great, wonderful light, two brightness settings, momentary and click-on tailcap.

caesar their is a push button on the back part of it, your thumb falls across it as your holding the grip

I run two lights with the 9p and a secondary x300 underneath. Actually the x300 is a indoor light with good outdoor throw too, and the 9p is a outside light as it has a high output LED head. And if one fails as "stuff" always does I have another light to use rather than be sitting in the dark...........................

thats what i like about this grip, if the g2 goes down it slides out and my stinger from my duty belt fits in.

I could see that, I just prefer the two lights always on the gun. One goes down finger hits the other one, no fumbling or searching. I ditch the rifle ...and I still have my hand held with me

Streamlight Polytac LED is 120 lumens and about $35. I used scope rings to mount mine.

I have used 2 of these on a couple of ar's for a little over a year with no complaints. They are a little slim for a 1" scope ring so I wrapped a little electrical tape around the light before putting it in the ring .

I like the foregrip mounted light but since I had an extra M3 light leftover after I switched to the M6, I just slide it on the picatinny rail on the right side for use with my offhand thumb. Cost: ZERO.

I love my OLight T20. Way brighter than anything else I have, including my SF Scout, and TLR-1. It's comparable to my P9 with Malkoff drop-in.

They can be had for $60 online soem places.

I have one mounted to my free-float tube. It arrived quickly and with no hassles. It mounts securely to the rail without issues. It's advertised as 380 lumens output, and while I have no method of measuring actual output, I was able to light up a car at 100 yards brightly enough that I could ID the occupants without magnification. That's bright enough for me.

Another vote for the VTAC Surefire combo. They have several combination offerings well within your budget.

Yep, gt the G2 combo for $59 and a malkoff LED conversion for $55, and you have a 235 lumen tactical light setup that is rock solid for under $115.00.

TLR-3 is just about nearly as bright as the TLR1 (I have both) both are great lights for the budget.
